अद्य बाणैरमोघास्त्रैर्वारिधिं परिशोषये । क्षमया हि समायुक्तं मामयं मकरालयः

adya bāṇairamoghāstrairvāridhiṃ pariśoṣaye | kṣamayā hi samāyuktaṃ māmayaṃ makarālayaḥ

Hari ini, dengan anak panah astra yang tidak pernah meleset dan tidak terkalahkan, akan kukeringkan lautan. Kediaman para makara ini menyangka aku—yang terikat oleh kesabaran—boleh dipandang remeh.
