ऋषय ऊचुः । ब्रह्महत्या कथमभूद्रौहिणेयस्य सूतज । कथं चात्र विनष्टा सा तन्नो ब्रूहि महामुने

ṛṣaya ūcuḥ | brahmahatyā kathamabhūdrauhiṇeyasya sūtaja | kathaṃ cātra vinaṣṭā sā tanno brūhi mahāmune

Para ṛṣi berkata: “Wahai putera Sūta, bagaimana dosa pembunuhan brāhmaṇa timbul pada Rauhiṇeya (Balabhadra)? Dan bagaimana dosa itu lenyap di sini? Wahai mahāmuni, khabarkanlah kepada kami.”
