FAQs

It upholds dharma through restraint: even amid conflict, one should heed righteous counsel, lay down aggression when appropriate, and choose self-control over escalation.

The verse occurs within the Setukhaṇḍa, whose broader frame glorifies Setu-kṣetra (Rāma-setu / Rāmeśvaram–Setu sacred region), even though this particular line focuses on a dharmic episode.

None is stated in this verse; it is narrative and ethical in emphasis rather than prescribing snāna, dāna, japa, or vrata.
