महत्या सेनया सार्धं प्रययौ वेदकाननम् । तत्रोटजे समासीन तं दीर्घतमसं मुनिम्

mahatyā senayā sārdhaṃ prayayau vedakānanam | tatroṭaje samāsīna taṃ dīrghatamasaṃ munim

Dengan bala tentera yang besar, dia berangkat menuju rimba Veda. Di sana, di sebuah pondok pertapaan, tampak sang muni Dīrghatamas sedang duduk.
