तथान्या देवताः सूर्यविभावसुमुखाः प्रिये । तेन पापेन चाद्याहमस्मिञ्जन्मनि शोभने
tathānyā devatāḥ sūryavibhāvasumukhāḥ priye | tena pāpena cādyāhamasmiñjanmani śobhane
Wahai kekasih, demikian juga dewa-dewa lain—bermula dengan Sūrya dan Vibhāvasu (Agni)—tidak aku hormati dengan pemujaan. Kerana dosa itu, wahai yang jelita, dalam kelahiran ini juga, hari ini aku jatuh ke keadaan begini.
