यम उवाच । तीर्थरूपमिदं क्षेत्रं प्रसादाद्देवकीसुत । त्वत्तोषविधिना चाद्य कृपया च शिवस्य च
yama uvāca | tīrtharūpamidaṃ kṣetraṃ prasādāddevakīsuta | tvattoṣavidhinā cādya kṛpayā ca śivasya ca
Yama bersabda: Wahai putera Devakī, dengan anugerah rahmatmu wilayah ini menjadi berwujud tīrtha yang sejati. Pada hari ini, melalui upacara yang memperkenankan hatimu serta belas kasihan Śiva juga, kesuciannya terserlah sepenuhnya.
