दैवादतीतकाले चेत्वृद्धिरापद्यते यदा । तदा प्रथमतः कृत्वा पश्चाद्वृद्धिर्विधीयते
daivādatītakāle cetvṛddhirāpadyate yadā | tadā prathamataḥ kṛtvā paścādvṛddhirvidhīyate
Jika kerana takdir, setelah waktu yang sepatutnya berlalu timbul keperluan menambah bahagian dalam ketetapan upacara, maka hendaklah terlebih dahulu ditunaikan apa yang wajib menurut asalnya; sesudah itu barulah dilaksanakan bahagian yang ditambah menurut vidhi.
