Viprāḥ (the brāhmaṇas)
Tirtha: Laṅkā (itihāsa-smṛti kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Listener: brāhmaṇas (speaking to Hanumān)
Scene: Brāhmaṇas petition Hanumān: ‘Show the very form by which the Laṅkā deed was done’—evoking the heroic, expansive, mission-ready Hanumān of Sundarakāṇḍa.
Devotion seeks not only gifts but direct darśana—seeing the divine reality behind sacred deeds.
Laṅkā is referenced as the mythic-sacred geography of Hanumān’s exploit, though the Dharmāraṇya setting remains the narrative locus.
No formal rite is prescribed; it is a boon-request for darśana (vision) of the deity’s svarūpa.
