ब्रह्मोवाच । ततस्तु मिलिताः सर्वे विमृश्य च परस्परम् । केचिदूचुस्तदा रामं वयं शिलोंछजीविकाः
brahmovāca | tatastu militāḥ sarve vimṛśya ca parasparam | kecidūcustadā rāmaṃ vayaṃ śiloṃchajīvikāḥ
Brahmā bersabda: Kemudian mereka semua berhimpun dan bermusyawarah sesama sendiri. Lalu sebahagian berkata kepada Rāma, ‘Kami hidup dengan śiloñcha, memungut sisa-sisa dan menyara diri dengan bekal yang paling sedikit.’
