Tirtha: Ekastha-tritaya tīrtha (centered on Gaṅgākūpaka/Govatsa within Sarasvatī–Śiva-kṣetra)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A panoramic sacred complex showing three sanctified nodes in one frame—well (Gaṅgākūpaka), Govatsa marker, and a Śiva precinct—visited by sages and siddhas; a bifurcating luminous path symbolizes svarga and apavarga.
Purāṇic sacred geography teaches that certain confluences of holy powers can grant both worldly merit (svarga) and ultimate release (apavarga).
The chapter’s ‘triad in one place’—centered on Govatsa and Gaṅgākūpaka within the Sarasvatī–Śiva-kṣetra—is praised as universally renowned.
No single rite is mandated; the verse emphasizes the tīrtha’s stature and the exemplary practice of sages and siddhas who frequent it.
