Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 81

दण्डी कमंडलुकरः साक्षाद्वह्निरिवापरः । भेत्ता जगति गुह्यानां विग्रहाणां गुहोपमः

daṇḍī kamaṃḍalukaraḥ sākṣādvahnirivāparaḥ | bhettā jagati guhyānāṃ vigrahāṇāṃ guhopamaḥ

Dengan tongkat dan kamaṇḍalu di tangan, beliau bagaikan api yang nyata—seolah api kedua. Di dunia beliau menembusi rahsia, laksana gua yang mengenal rupa serta niat yang tersembunyi.
