Transliteration

kathāḥ puṇyā dharmayutā ramyā vyāsamukhācchrutāḥ | dharmakāmārthasaṃyuktāḥ sarvāghaughavināśinīḥ

Translation

Kisah-kisah ini suci lagi berpahala, sarat dengan Dharma dan indah—didengar dari mulut Vyāsa sendiri. Berpadu dengan Dharma, Kāma dan Artha, ia memusnahkan seluruh banjir dosa.
