एषा सामवती नाम सुता तस्य द्विजन्मनः । भूत्वा सुमेधसः पत्नी कामभोगेन युज्यताम्
eṣā sāmavatī nāma sutā tasya dvijanmanaḥ | bhūtvā sumedhasaḥ patnī kāmabhogena yujyatām
“Inilah puteri kepada dwija itu, bernama Sāmavatī. Biarlah dia menjadi isteri Sumedhas dan bersatu dengannya dalam kenikmatan suci perkahwinan.”
