महाजनान्याचयितुं चचाल च शनैःशनैः । करावलंबेनान्यस्याः प्राग्जन्मार्जितकर्मणा । दिनैः कतिपयैर्याती गोकर्णं क्षेत्रमाययौ
mahājanānyācayituṃ cacāla ca śanaiḥśanaiḥ | karāvalaṃbenānyasyāḥ prāgjanmārjitakarmaṇā | dinaiḥ katipayairyātī gokarṇaṃ kṣetramāyayau
Untuk meminta sedekah daripada orang ramai, dia bergerak perlahan-lahan, berpaut pada tangan orang lain—didorong oleh karma yang dihimpun dalam kelahiran terdahulu. Setelah beberapa hari perjalanan, dia pun tiba di kṣetra suci Gokarṇa.
