यम उवाच । देवदेव महारुद्र वीरभद्र नमोऽस्तु ते । निरागसि कथं मृत्यौ कोपस्तव समुत्थितः
yama uvāca | devadeva mahārudra vīrabhadra namo'stu te | nirāgasi kathaṃ mṛtyau kopastava samutthitaḥ
Yama berkata: “Wahai Dewa segala dewa, Mahārudra—wahai Vīrabhadra, sembah sujudku kepadamu. Mṛtyu itu tiada bersalah; mengapa murkamu bangkit terhadap Kematian?”
