वरं विषादनं राज्ञो वरमग्नौ प्रवेशनम् । अनाथानां प्रपन्नानां कृपणानामरक्षणात्

varaṃ viṣādanaṃ rājño varamagnau praveśanam | anāthānāṃ prapannānāṃ kṛpaṇānāmarakṣaṇāt

Bagi raja, lebih baik diliputi dukacita, bahkan lebih baik masuk ke dalam api, daripada gagal melindungi yang tiada pelindung, yang berserah diri memohon naungan, dan yang papa.
