तत्रैकं रथिनं हत्वा ससूतं नृपनंदनः । तमेव रथमास्थाय वैश्यनंदनसारथिः । विचचार रणे धीरः सिंहो मृगकुलं यथा
tatraikaṃ rathinaṃ hatvā sasūtaṃ nṛpanaṃdanaḥ | tameva rathamāsthāya vaiśyanaṃdanasārathiḥ | vicacāra raṇe dhīraḥ siṃho mṛgakulaṃ yathā
Di sana putera raja membunuh seorang pahlawan kereta perang bersama saisnya; lalu baginda menaiki kereta itu juga, dipandu oleh putera saudagar sebagai sais. Dengan teguh ia bergerak di medan laga laksana singa di tengah kawanan rusa.
