Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Vyāsa-abhisheka-smṛti-tīrtha (consecration remembrance)
Type: kshetra
Scene: Brahmā (Virañci) anoints Vyāsa; sages shower flowers; a radiant dark-complexioned sage-child/young ascetic holds palm-leaf manuscripts; the four Vedas symbolized as four luminous streams or books.
Divine purpose manifests through sages: Vyāsa’s Vedic work is portrayed as sacred service sanctioned by Brahmā and the ṛṣis.
No tīrtha is praised in this verse; the focus is Vyāsa’s authority and consecration, setting up his later pilgrimage.
Abhiṣeka (consecration/anointing) is mentioned as a rite of authorization and honor.
