तीव्रतेजा विघोरश्च जीवत्पुत्रः प्रियंवदः । शत्रुवर्गो न तस्य स्यात्कदाचित्पाण्डुनन्दन
tīvratejā vighoraśca jīvatputraḥ priyaṃvadaḥ | śatruvargo na tasya syātkadācitpāṇḍunandana
Wahai putera Pāṇḍu, dia menjadi bersinar dengan tenaga yang tajam dan menggerunkan para lawan; anak-anak lelakinya hidup sejahtera, tutur katanya menjadi manis, dan tidak pernah bangkit gerombolan musuh menentangnya pada bila-bila masa.
