mārutaḥ śītalo vāti vanaṃ spṛṣṭvā suśobhanam | vātena prerito gandho dānavo ghrāṇapīḍitaḥ
Angin sejuk bertiup, menyentuh rimba yang indah. Didorong oleh angin itu, haruman sampai kepada si Dānava, lalu hidungnya pun dikuasai oleh bau wangi tersebut.
