दीर्घतपा उवाच । ब्रह्महत्या न शक्येताप्येका निस्तरितुं प्रभो । दशैका च कथं शक्यास्ताः शृणुष्व नरेश्वर

dīrghatapā uvāca | brahmahatyā na śakyetāpyekā nistarituṃ prabho | daśaikā ca kathaṃ śakyāstāḥ śṛṇuṣva nareśvara

Dīrghatapā berkata: Wahai tuanku, bahkan satu dosa brahmahatyā pun sukar ditebus. Maka bagaimana mungkin menyeberangi sepuluh? Dengarlah, wahai raja.
