सतिर्यक्पशुपक्षीकं स्वेदाण्डजजरायुजम् । एतदण्डं पुराणेषु प्रथमं परिकीर्तितम्

Transliteration

satiryakpaśupakṣīkaṃ svedāṇḍajajarāyujam | etadaṇḍaṃ purāṇeṣu prathamaṃ parikīrtitam

Translation

Daripada ciptaan itu lahirlah makhluk tiryak—binatang dan burung—serta segala yang beraneka kelahiran: yang lahir daripada peluh, daripada telur, dan daripada rahim. Telur kosmik ini disebut dalam Purāṇa sebagai yang pertama.
