किमत्रागमनं देवाः सर्वेषां वै विवर्णता । केनापमानिताः सर्वे शीघ्रं मे कथ्यतां स्वयम्
kimatrāgamanaṃ devāḥ sarveṣāṃ vai vivarṇatā | kenāpamānitāḥ sarve śīghraṃ me kathyatāṃ svayam
(Brahmā bersabda:) “Wahai para dewa, mengapa kamu datang ke sini? Mengapa kamu semua pucat lesi? Siapakah yang telah menghina kamu semua? Katakan kepadaku segera, dengan mulutmu sendiri.”
Brahmā (Padmayoni)
Listener: राजेन्द्र (king addressed)
Scene: Brahmā, voice commanding, questions the gods: why they have come, why they are pale, who has dishonored them; the devas stand humbled and shaken.
