देवा ऊचुः । जय देव जगद्वन्द्य जय संसृतिकारक । पद्मयोने सुरश्रेष्ठ त्वामेव शरणं गताः
devā ūcuḥ | jaya deva jagadvandya jaya saṃsṛtikāraka | padmayone suraśreṣṭha tvāmeva śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ
Para dewa berkata: “Jaya bagimu, wahai Dewa yang disembah seluruh jagat! Jaya bagimu, pengatur samsara! Wahai Padmayoni, yang terbaik di antara para sura—kepada-Mu sahaja kami berlindung.”
Devas
Scene: Devas with folded hands (añjali) chant victory-cries to Brahmā; Brahmā serene, four-faced, seated on lotus; banners and divine light fill the hall.
Śaraṇāgati (taking refuge) and humble praise are shown as the dhārmic response when overwhelmed by adharma.
None in this verse; it is a hymn-like address to Brahmā in Brahmaloka.
No explicit ritual is prescribed; the verse models stuti (praise) and śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge).
