Brahmā (petition), with Vāsudeva’s assent implied
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā)
Type: river
Listener: Ṛṣis/assembly (frame)
Scene: Brahmā, lotus-seated, petitions the Lord to protect like a father and to slay Indra’s enemy with his progeny; devas and asuras alike bow to the Lord’s lotus feet; the Lord replies ‘So be it.’
The Lord’s guardianship is parental in compassion, and his justice is decisive against entrenched adharma.
No specific tīrtha is named in this verse.
None; it is a supplication (prārthanā) and divine acceptance.
