शाकमूलफलाहारः स्नानहोमपरायणः । ततस्तुष्टो महादेव उमया सहितः किल

śākamūlaphalāhāraḥ snānahomaparāyaṇaḥ | tatastuṣṭo mahādeva umayā sahitaḥ kila

Dengan memakan sayur, akar dan buah, serta tekun pada upacara mandi suci dan persembahan api (homa), dia bertapa. Lalu, dikatakan, Mahādeva bersama Umā pun berkenan.
