यतः क्षोभादृषीणां च तदेवं लिङ्गमुत्तमम् । पतितं ते महादेव न तत्पूज्यं भविष्यति

yataḥ kṣobhādṛṣīṇāṃ ca tadevaṃ liṅgamuttamam | patitaṃ te mahādeva na tatpūjyaṃ bhaviṣyati

Oleh kerana kegelisahan para resi, Liṅga yang paling utama ini telah jatuh demikian, wahai Mahādeva. Maka dalam keadaan jatuh itu, ia tidak lagi layak untuk dipuja.
