प्रार्थितोऽयं मया राजा सुतां दातुं न चेच्छति । तेन नष्टोऽग्निशरणादहं भो द्विजसत्तमाः

prārthito'yaṃ mayā rājā sutāṃ dātuṃ na cecchati | tena naṣṭo'gniśaraṇādahaṃ bho dvijasattamāḥ

“Aku telah memohon kepada raja ini agar mengurniakan puterinya, namun baginda tidak berkenan. Maka, wahai brāhmaṇa yang utama, aku pun berundur dari naungan api suci lalu menghilang.”
