राजोवाच । नाहं द्रव्यविहीनस्य असवर्णस्य कर्हिचित् । दास्यामि स्वां सुतां शुभ्रां गम्यतां द्विजपुंगव
rājovāca | nāhaṃ dravyavihīnasya asavarṇasya karhicit | dāsyāmi svāṃ sutāṃ śubhrāṃ gamyatāṃ dvijapuṃgava
Raja bersabda: “Tidak sekali-kali aku akan mengahwinkan puteriku yang suci lagi jelita dengan orang yang tiada harta dan tidak sepadan kedudukannya. Berangkatlah, wahai yang utama di antara kaum dwija.”
