Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 39

अचिन्त्याव्यक्तरूपाय महादेवाय धामने । विद्महे देवदेवाय तन्नो रुद्र नमोनमः

acintyāvyaktarūpāya mahādevāya dhāmane | vidmahe devadevāya tanno rudra namonamaḥ

Kami merenung Mahādeva—yang wujud-Nya tidak terfikirkan dan tidak termanifest, tempat bersemayam yang tertinggi. Kami mengenal Dewa segala dewa; maka, wahai Rudra, kepada-Mu kami menunduk berulang-ulang: namo namaḥ.
