tvaṃ naḥ pāhi sureśāna trayīmūrte sanātana | bhavamūrte bhavāre tvaṃ bhajatāmabhayo bhava
Lindungilah kami, wahai Sureśāna, wahai Yang Kekal, berwujud Tri-Veda.
Type: river
Scene: A supplicant prays to Śiva as Lord of gods and embodiment of the Vedas; the atmosphere is protective—Śiva’s abhaya-mudrā, with subtle Vedic symbolism (threefold light or three scrolls) and the river’s calm flow.
Devotion to Śiva grants protection and inner fearlessness, rooted in his Vedic and eternal nature.
The Revā Khaṇḍa context implies the Narmadā sacred region, but this verse emphasizes refuge in Śiva rather than a named location.
Bhajana (worship/devotional practice) is indicated as the means by which fearlessness is obtained.
