Tirtha: Revā-māhātmya (of Narmadā)
Type: kshetra
Listener: O best of sages (ṛṣi-sabhā)
Scene: Sūta addresses a circle of sages, gesturing as if concluding a long narration; in the background, a symbolic ribbon of the Revā river with marked tīrthas indicates the 'complete' māhātmya now delivered.
Sacred geography is preserved through faithful transmission: tīrtha-glories are to be heard as taught by realized seers.
Revā (Narmadā) is identified as the subject whose māhātmya has been fully narrated.
No direct ritual is prescribed; the verse serves as a colophon-like confirmation of the completed narration.
