prāhuste sārdhakṛcchraṃ vai phalaṃ pūrvaṃ yudhiṣṭhira | triguṇaṃ kṛcchramāpnoti revāsāgarasaṅgame

Unspecified (Revā Khaṇḍa narrative voice, addressing Yudhiṣṭhira)
Tirtha: Revā–Sāgara-saṅgama
Type: sangam
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: The Revā widens into an estuary meeting the sea; pilgrims offer arghya as waves roll in; a sage reminds Yudhiṣṭhira of earlier stated ‘sārdha-kṛcchra’ baseline and the new tripled Kṛcchra at the ocean confluence.
The culmination-point of a sacred river—where it meets the ocean—is portrayed as exceptionally merit-bestowing.
Revā-sāgara-saṅgama: the confluence of the Narmadā (Revā) with the ocean.
A stated enhancement of expiatory merit: at the Revā–ocean confluence, the Kṛcchra fruit becomes threefold.
