ततः प्रोवाच वचनं हृष्टपुष्टो द्विजोत्तमः । वरदोऽस्मि वरं वत्स वृणु यत्तव रोचते
tataḥ provāca vacanaṃ hṛṣṭapuṣṭo dvijottamaḥ | varado'smi varaṃ vatsa vṛṇu yattava rocate
Lalu brahmana yang utama itu, gembira dan penuh kekuatan, berkata: “Wahai anak yang dikasihi, aku pemberi anugerah; pilihlah anugerah apa sahaja yang berkenan di hatimu.”
