Devadeva (Śiva) (implied as the curser in context)
Tirtha: Revā (contextual, as remedy later)
Type: river
Listener: Yudhiṣṭhira
Scene: Śiva’s curse is spoken: Brahmā (lotus-seated) appears stricken; symbolic imagery of fading Vedic radiance and dimming aura around Brahmā.
Status and office do not override dharma; spiritual authority diminishes when conduct falters.
The verse is part of the Revā Khaṇḍa’s lead-in to the Paitāmaha-tīrtha on the banks of the Revā.
None here; it states the consequence of the curse that later motivates penance and tīrtha-glorification.
