त्वया चात्र सदा देवि स्थातव्यं तीर्थसन्निधौ मार्कण्डेय उवाच । एवं भविष्यतीत्युक्त्वा देवी देवैरभिष्टुता
tvayā cātra sadā devi sthātavyaṃ tīrthasannidhau mārkaṇḍeya uvāca | evaṃ bhaviṣyatītyuktvā devī devairabhiṣṭutā
“Dan Engkau, wahai Dewi, hendaklah sentiasa bersemayam di sini, di sisi tīrtha yang suci ini.” Mārkaṇḍeya berkata: Setelah menjawab, “Demikianlah akan terjadi,” Sang Dewi—yang dipuji para dewa—(menerima amanah itu).
