गङ्गोवाच । त्वत्पादकमलाद्भ्रष्टा गङ्गा सहचरा विभो । यदृच्छया त्रिलोकेश वन्द्यमाना दिवौकसैः
gaṅgovāca | tvatpādakamalādbhraṣṭā gaṅgā sahacarā vibho | yadṛcchayā trilokeśa vandyamānā divaukasaiḥ
Gaṅgā bersabda: “Wahai Tuhan Yang Maha Berkuasa, aku Gaṅgā—pengiring-Mu—telah terlepas dari teratai kaki-Mu; dengan ketentuan takdir aku berada di sini, wahai Penguasa tiga alam, dimuliakan oleh para penghuni syurga.”
