गता राजगृहे सर्वाः कथयन्ति सुदुःखिताः । कामप्रमोदिनी राजन्हृता श्येनेन पक्षिणा

gatā rājagṛhe sarvāḥ kathayanti suduḥkhitāḥ | kāmapramodinī rājanhṛtā śyenena pakṣiṇā

Mereka semua pergi ke istana dan dengan dukacita yang amat melapor: “Wahai Raja, Kāmapramodinī telah dilarikan oleh burung śyena (helang).”
