Transliteration

sacailaḥ klinnavasano maunamāsthāya saṃyataḥ | aṣṭamyāṃ vā caturdaśyāmupoṣya vidhivannaraḥ

Translation

Dengan tetap berpakaian dan membiarkan kainnya basah, berpegang pada mauna (diam) serta pengendalian diri, seseorang hendaklah berpuasa menurut aturan—pada hari Aṣṭamī atau Caturdaśī.
