एवं परस्परं वीरौ जगर्जतुरुभावपि । तयोर्युद्धमभूद्घोरं तारकाग्निजसन्निभम्
evaṃ parasparaṃ vīrau jagarjaturubhāvapi | tayoryuddhamabhūdghoraṃ tārakāgnijasannibham
Demikianlah kedua-dua wira itu saling mengaum mencabar. Lalu pertempuran mereka menjadi menggerunkan—menyala bagaikan api Skanda, putera Tārakā.
