prīyatāṃ me jagannātho vyādhirnaśyatu me dhruvam | dvijāya kāñcane datte yatphalaṃ tacchṛṇuṣva me
Semoga Jagannātha, Tuhan sekalian alam, berkenan kepadaku; semoga penyakitku pasti lenyap. Dengarlah daripadaku akan buah pahala apabila emas didermakan kepada seorang dvija (brāhmaṇa).
Mārkaṇḍeya (deduced)
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) tīrtha
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim at the Revā riverbank, hands folded in prayer to Jagannātha, offering a small gold piece to a seated brāhmaṇa after ritual bathing; the river glows as a sacred presence.
Charity performed with devotion, seeking the Lord’s pleasure, is presented as a dharmic means for purification and relief from suffering.
The verse continues the Revā Khaṇḍa tīrtha context of Adhyāya 104 (near the Saṅgama/Suvarṇaśilā).
A devotional prayer for divine pleasure and the prescription of kāñcana-dāna (donating gold) to a dvija (brāhmaṇa).
