Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
Significance: General siddhi-teaching: steadiness (viśvāsa) and śraddhā remove pratibandhas so sādhana yields its promised fruit; applicable to any Śiva-kṣetra.
It teaches that Shaiva sādhana bears fruit when the seeker has mantra-effectiveness, freedom from inner and outer obstacles, steadiness, and living faith—qualities that align the soul (paśu) toward Shiva (Pati) and loosen bondage (pāśa).
Linga worship and Saguna Shiva devotion are practice-based paths; this verse emphasizes the inner qualifications—faith, steadiness, and obstacle-removal—by which ritual and japa become truly fruitful and lead toward Shiva’s grace.
Regular mantra-japa with faith and consistency is implied; the verse highlights cultivating śraddhā and removing pratibandhas (distractions, doubts, impurities) so the mantra becomes siddha and yields its promised result.
