द्रव्यैर्विशेषतो होमे वश्यमाकर्षणं तथा । वश्यमाकर्षणं चैव श्रीपदं च विशेषतः
dravyairviśeṣato home vaśyamākarṣaṇaṃ tathā | vaśyamākarṣaṇaṃ caiva śrīpadaṃ ca viśeṣataḥ
Dalam homa, apabila dipersembahkan dengan bahan-bahan khusus yang ditetapkan, maka dikatakan timbul amalan vaśya (mempengaruhi/menundukkan) dan ākarṣaṇa (menarik/mengundang). Sesungguhnya vaśya dan ākarṣaṇa itu terutama berkaitan dengan pencapaian śrīpada, yakni kemakmuran dan kedudukan yang bertuah.
