Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Affirms the universality of Śiva’s kṣetra: all classes of beings become participants in the sacred order when the Lord is worshipped.
It highlights Shiva’s all-pervading lordship (Pati) by showing that every class of being—celestial, human-sage, and even fearsome non-celestial—falls within the sphere of sacred reverence when aligned with dharma and devotion.
In Shaiva understanding, Saguna Shiva (as Linga and manifest Lord) becomes the common refuge for all beings; this verse reflects a universal gathering of beings whose reverence ultimately points toward the one Lord worshiped as the Linga.
Practice universal reverence while doing Shiva-upasana—chant the Panchakshara ("Om Namaḥ Śivāya") with Tripuṇḍra and a calm, non-hostile mind, seeing all beings as within Shiva’s domain.
