It teaches that Śiva is realized through both the Infinite (Ananta) and the Subtle (Sūkṣma) dimensions, and that His Śakti is inseparable from His manifestation—guiding the devotee to see Pati (Śiva) and His power as one worshipful reality.
The verse reflects a structured Linga/mandala-style upacāra where specific names of Śiva are invoked on directional petals; this is Saguna worship that trains the mind toward Nirguna insight by honoring Śiva’s attributes (infinite and subtle) along with Śakti.
It suggests a directional-petal (dik-patra) worship sequence: place/visualize Ananta in the east and Sūkṣma in the south, always with their Śakti to the left/alongside, and perform complete arcanā with mantra, offerings, and focused dhyāna.
