शिवस्य विश्वव्याप्तिः—अष्टमूर्तिः पञ्चब्रह्म च | Śiva’s Cosmic Pervasion: Aṣṭamūrti and the Pañcabrahma Forms

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: General tīrtha-doctrine: Śiva-pūjā is taught as the root-practice that nourishes the whole ‘Śiva-body’ universe and yields abhaya and anugraha.
Type: stotra
Role: nurturing
Offering: pushpa
It teaches that Śiva is the foundational reality (the “root”) of the cosmos; when one worships Śiva, the entire field of life is harmonized and uplifted, resulting in grace (anugraha) and fearlessness (abhaya).
The verse supports Saguna worship as a direct means to approach the Supreme: by honoring Śiva through pūjā—commonly centered on the Śiva-liṅga—one nourishes the whole manifestation, since the world is described as Śiva’s vapuḥ (expressed form).
Perform Śiva-pūjā with steady devotion—especially liṅgārcana—supported by japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and prayer for sarvābhaya (fearlessness) and sarvānugraha (grace for all beings).
