फाल्गुने चोत्तरान्ते वै प्रारभेत महोत्सवम् । चैत्रे चित्रापौर्णमास्यां दोलां कुर्याद्यथाविधि
phālgune cottarānte vai prārabheta mahotsavam | caitre citrāpaurṇamāsyāṃ dolāṃ kuryādyathāvidhi
Pada penghujung bulan Phālguna, hendaklah benar-benar dimulakan perayaan agung. Kemudian pada bulan Caitra, pada hari purnama di bawah nakṣatra Citrā, lakukanlah upacara ayunan suci (dolā) menurut tatacara yang ditetapkan, sebagai pemujaan yang teratur dan selaras waktu kepada Tuhan Śiva.
