Maṇḍala Worship and Homa Sequence for the Disciple
कृत्वा शेषविधानेन समभ्यर्च्य सदाशिवम् । तस्मै समादिशेदाज्ञां शंभोरमितकर्मणः
kṛtvā śeṣavidhānena samabhyarcya sadāśivam | tasmai samādiśedājñāṃ śaṃbhoramitakarmaṇaḥ
Setelah menyempurnakan baki upacara menurut tatacara yang ditetapkan, dan setelah memuja Sadāśiva dengan sewajarnya, hendaklah dia menyampaikan perintah—titah Śambhu, Tuhan yang amal-perbuatan-Nya tiada terukur—kepada-Nya.

It teaches that worship is not merely emotion but disciplined completion of ordained rites; when Sadāśiva is duly honored, the devotee becomes fit to receive and carry out Śiva’s ājñā, aligning the individual will with Pati (the Lord) in Shaiva Siddhanta.
The verse emphasizes procedural worship (vidhi) culminating in reverent approach to Sadāśiva—Saguna worship that purifies the devotee and becomes a doorway to grasping Shiva’s higher intent, often expressed through commands, vows, or observances connected with Linga-puja.
Complete the remaining upacāras of Shiva-puja as prescribed (śeṣa-vidhi), then conclude with attentive receptivity—mentally offering obedience to Shiva’s ordinance; this pairs well with japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) as a contemplative sealing of the rite.
