समयाह्वय-संस्कारः — Rite of ‘Samayāhvaya’ and the Preparatory Layout

राजन्यं चैवमुद्धृत्य कृत्वा विप्रं पुनस्तयोः । रुद्रत्वं जनयेद्विप्रे रुद्रनामैव साधयेत्

rājanyaṃ caivamuddhṛtya kṛtvā vipraṃ punastayoḥ | rudratvaṃ janayedvipre rudranāmaiva sādhayet

Demikian, setelah mengangkat seorang Kṣatriya dan sekali lagi menjadikannya brāhmaṇa dalam laku, hendaklah dibangkitkan Rudra-tva dalam diri brāhmaṇa itu; dan sesungguhnya Nama Rudra sendirilah yang menyempurnakan pencapaian ini.
