शिवसंस्कार-दीक्षानिरूपणम् (Śivasaṃskāra and the Typology of Dīkṣā)
Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s liberating doctrine to the sages of Naimisharanya in the Vayu Samhita’s philosophical discourse)
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: liberating
It teaches that liberation (moksha) is grounded in tattva-realization—knowing Shiva as Pati and understanding the bondage of pāśa over the paśu. Only those established in this truth become capable guides who can awaken others.
Linga/Saguna worship is a practical doorway to tattva: devotion, purity, and mantra lead the seeker from form-based reverence to direct insight into Shiva’s reality. Without tattva, external worship remains incomplete and does not mature into liberating knowledge.
A focused discipline of Shiva-upāsanā that ripens into insight—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with steady meditation on Shiva as the inner Self; supported by traditional Shaiva aids like bhasma (Tripundra) and rudrāksha where appropriate.
